If you own real estate in Georgia, your valuation likely has been rocked by the extreme number of foreclosures that have occurred in the past few years. It seems like every time our home market has tried to recover, along comes another 10,000 homes going to the auction block.
For the most part, those homes go back to the first mortgage lender, who lists them for sale with a real estate agent. As the house sits vacant, it drags down property values because of its deteriorating condition. If it sells at all, the sale is often at a huge discount, further undermining values in the neighborhood.

Logan Parker was born to LaToya and Ishamel Parker on February 13, 2011. The family is doing great. Logan comes into the office everyday bringing lots of smiles and giggles. She will be three months soon and has already been employee of the month three months in a row! Logan loves Hello Kitty and playing with her pets. She has two Yorkies named Bud and Winston, and a cat named Kat (short for Kathleen). When she is not working she is sleeping.
LaToya Parker is a Certified Financial Planner. She specializes in insurance and retirement planning. She has been with our agency since 1997. Being able to return to work with the baby right beside her has truly been a blessing.
